Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy forms part of the Veritex Terms of Service.
1. Two kinds of fees
Every order may include:
- Veritex service fees — what you pay Veritex for its work
- Government fees — amounts collected from you and paid to the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Internal Revenue Service, or another authority
These are refunded on different terms. Read both sections below.
2. One-time services
Applies to business formation, EIN filing, operating agreements, corporate bylaws, annual report filings, and similar non-recurring services.
2.1 Veritex service fees

Government fees are refundable while we still hold them. Once a filing has been submitted, the fee has been paid to the authority and cannot be recovered by Veritex.
2.3 What "work has begun" means
Work has begun when Veritex has started substantive preparation of your order. This includes reviewing your submitted information for completeness or accuracy, preparing or drafting filing documents or governance documents, contacting you for clarification or additional information, or submitting anything to any authority on your behalf.
Work has not begun merely because payment was received or an order was recorded.
If you cancel, we will tell you whether work had begun and whether the filing had been submitted.
2.4 No proration
Once work has begun, service fees are not prorated or partially refunded, regardless of how much work remains.
3. Subscription services
Applies to registered agent service, business address and mail service, and compliance monitoring.
3.1 These services begin immediately
Subscription services activate on purchase. Subscription fees are not refundable once the service has been activated. This includes the initial term and every renewal.
3.2 Cancelling a subscription
To cancel, contact info@veritexadvisory.com. Include your order number and the service you wish to cancel.
Cancellation requests must be received at least 30 days before the renewal date. A request received fewer than 30 days before renewal will not prevent that renewal charge; the cancellation will take effect at the end of the term then beginning.
3.3 When cancellation takes effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your service continues, and you retain its benefits, through that date. No refund is issued for the remaining portion of the term.
3.4 Automatic renewal
Subscription services renew automatically at the disclosed interval and the then-current price until cancelled. We provide advance notice of renewal and of price changes as required by law.
3.5 Cancelling registered agent service
Cancelling registered agent service has consequences beyond billing. You are responsible for appointing a successor registered agent with the Commonwealth of Virginia. Failure to maintain a registered agent may result in penalties or loss of good standing. See Document 4.
4. Circumstances outside this policy
Filing rejected by the authority. If a filing is rejected for a reason within Veritex's control, we will correct and resubmit at no additional service fee. Additional government fees charged for resubmission are your responsibility. If a filing is rejected because of information you supplied, correction and resubmission may incur additional fees.
Duplicate charges and processing errors. Refunded in full on verification.
Services we cannot perform. If we determine we cannot perform a service you purchased, we will refund the service fee and any government fee not yet submitted.
5. How to request a refund
Email info@veritexadvisory.com with your order number and the reason for the request. We will respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your financial institution.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, contact us first. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of services while the dispute is resolved.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
